   I’ve used various other metal detecting and garden variety shovels from many of the top brands. Most of my metal detecting hunting is for meteorites which often bring me to difficult and very dry terrain. I also hunt a lot in forest, deserts and large farm fields all across North America. When digging, I come across large rocks and plant root systems that really test most shovels. I’ve recently broke two popular brand name shovels last year in the 31″ and 36″ size when searching a large site in New Brunswick woodlands last summer and fall. I recently discovered the Grave Digger brand from one of my colleagues and I was impressed on how well it performed all around in the field. His grave digger shovel is a Nemesis 27″ and he has absolutely no problem moving large stubs and boulders while breaking the grown. It cuts the ground like a knife and is so strong that if required, you could cut down a small tree using the blade of the shovel like an ax. I recently purchased the Nemesis 36″ shovel from Carry All Canada Metal Detector Sales and WOW, I now know what everyone is talking about. Compared to most other shovels I’ve owned and used this thing is built like a tank and performs like nothing I’ve ever used. I tested it recently on two different occasions in partially frozen grown and wow this thing is amazing. The 36″ is a little long compared to most of my other shovels except for my Whites shovel which I unfortunately bent last year when trying to move a wood stump overlapping a find. The built of the Nemesis is not comparable to anything I ever used. When detecting, I can put in a good 6 to 8 hours of sweeping or more and the 36″ Nemesis although a little heavier is a real work horse and doubles as a support pole when navigating and moving trough heavy and unstable woodland while sweeping the grown with my metal detector. Carry All Canada provided me with a speedy delivery, and a good price. Great purchase experience and a fabulous product! I strongly recommend this product.
